Thandi Wade is a shareholder in the firm of Tatum and
Wade, PLLC. He received his Bachelor of Administration Degree in
Accounting from Jackson State University in December 1992 (Magna
Cum Laude). He received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1996 from the
University of Mississippi School of Law, where he received the Best
Overall Contract Negotiation Award, was a Frederick Douglas Moot
Court Semi-Finalist, and served on the Moot Court Board, and the
Journal of National Security Law. Mr. Wade is currently on the Editorial
Board of the Sports Law Journal.
Mr. Wade practices in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice,
and consumer bankruptcy. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers
Association, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, Magnolia Bar
Association, Mississippi State Bar Association and the Mississippi
Bankruptcy Conference. Mr. Wade has handled over 2000 Consumer
Bankruptcy Cases and served as lead council in various personal
injury and medical malpractice cases resulting in multi-million
dollar settlements and/or judgments.
He has been a speaker at the Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
Fair Housing Bankruptcy Seminar, Magnolia Bar Association-Tort
Law Update and Bankruptcy Issues and Law Seminar. He has also served
as guest speaker at the Jackson State University Neighborhood Law
School and the Clarion Ledger People's Law School. Mr. Wade is
a volunteer with Junior Achievement, the Jackson Tigers AAU Youth
Basketball team and serves on the board of the Northside YMCA.
He is admitted to practice in the Mississippi Supreme Court, Northern
and Southern District Courts of Mississippi, Fifth Circuit Court
of Appeals and all Mississippi Circuit, Chancery, County and Justice
Courts. He has been awarded a high rating in the Martindale-Hubbell
guide to lawyer ratings.
