Joe N. Tatum is a shareholder in the firm of Tatum
and Wade, PLLC. He received his Bachelor of Administration Degree
in Accounting from Jackson State University in August 1991 (Cum Laude).
He received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1996 from the Mississippi
College School of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence
Award in Secured Transactions, was a Frederick Douglass Moot Court
Semi-Finalist, served on the Moot Court Board and competed in several
national moot court competitions.
Mr. Tatum practices in the areas of criminal law, personal injury,
medical malpractice, and consumer bankruptcy. He is a member of
the Mississippi Criminal Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers
Association, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, and the Mississippi
State Bar Association. Mr. Tatum has handled three (3) capital
cases and more than 600 various other criminal cases.
He is admitted to practice in the Mississippi Supreme Court, Northern
and Southern District Courts of Mississippi, Fifth Circuit Court
of Appeals and all Mississippi Circuit, Chancery, County and Justice
Courts, as well as all state and federal courts of the States of
California and Nevada.
